Active Shooter Crisis Actors Target Mall Shootings via Visionbox

DENVER, CO, October 31, 2012 — A new group of actors is now available nationwide for active shooter drills and mall shooting full-scale exercises, announced Visionbox, Denver’s leading professional actors studio.

Visionbox Crisis Actors are trained in criminal and victim behavior, and bring intense realism to simulated mass casualty incidents in public places.

The actors’ stage acting experience, ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary American theater, enables them to “stay in character” throughout an exercise, and improvise scenes of extreme stress while strictly following official exercise scenarios.

The actors regularly rehearse scenarios involving the Incident Command System and crisis communications, and appear in interactive training films produced in both 2D and stereoscopic 3D.

Producers Jennifer McCray Rincon and John Simmons formed the group to demonstrate emerging security technologies, help first responders visualize life-saving procedures, and assist trainers in delivering superior hands-on crisis response training.

For example, with a large shopping center, the producers review all security camera views and design dramatic scenes specifically for existing camera angles, robotic camera sweeps, and manually-controlled camera moves.

The producers then work with the trainers to create a “prompt book” for the actors so that key scenario developments can be triggered throughout the mall shooting simulation, and caught on tape.

The actors can play the part of the shooters, mall employees, shoppers in the mall, shoppers who continue to arrive at the mall, media reporters and others rushing to the mall, and persons in motor vehicles around the mall.

Visionbox Crisis Actors can also play the role of citizens calling 911 or mall management, or posting comments on social media websites.

During the exercise, the producers use two-way radio to co-direct the Crisis Actors team from the mall dispatch center and at actors’ locations.

Within this framework, the exercise can test the mall’s monitoring and communications systems, the mall’s safety plan including lockdown and evacuation procedures, the ability of first responders and the mall to coordinate an effective response, and their joint ability to respond to the media and information posted on the Internet.

Security camera footage is edited for after-action reports and future training.

Visionbox is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center. Crisis Actors is a project of the Colorado Safety Task Force established by Colorado State Senator Steve King.

After this article drew the attention of both the public at large as well as independent investigators and researchers, the Crisis Actors Unit website went through a rapid-fire series of graphic gyrations: shutting down, opening up again to dispute any involvement with the Sandy Hook false flag attack, then going private, with a requirement to join and view the site being a certificate of completion of training by FEMA, before it ostensibly shut down for good (changed URLs and ISPs). All of this occurred in January of 2013.

Great post and footage, wrong interpretation. This isn’t the rehearsal, there was no rehearsal. This is the event — you’re looking at it. This is what actually went down at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012. Or perhaps better put: a fair portion of it. A preplanned, staged drill, put over on the unsuspecting public as the worst school rampage shooting in American history.

Take careful note that no one in this raw footage of the event is anxious, distraught, or even in anything akin to a hurry. Is this the scene at which innocent women and children are being chopped to ribbons by a deranged madman wielding the latest and greatest in lethal small-arms technology as we speak? The answer is: it’s supposed to be. I’ve inevitably come to the rather painstaking and demoralizing conclusion that more than likely, no one was harmed or injured at Sandy Hook Elementary School that day. It was all just one big world-class dog and pony show aimed at further restrictions on the rights of lawful gun owners in the short term and a general nationwide confiscation campaign on down the road.

In terms of the 9/11 false flag attack alone I was hesitant to state that it really pretty much rose to the level of the Manhattan Project in scope: years in the planning, with an unbelievable number of people involved, all acting in secrecy, with no one ever breaking ranks and outing the program to the public.

I say I hesitated to state it for the record, even though the thought surely occurred to me, and the same for Sandy Hook.

But when all of these continuous and ongoing, rabble-rousing dog and pony shows are taken into account, I feel I can safely say that that’s pretty much exactly what we’re looking at here, a modern day shadow government Manhattan Project, years in the planning, with an unbelievable number of people involved, and not one of them breaking ranks so far to inform the public as to what’s really going on.

I would have to say that the one guy who came the closest to doing so, however, was this man — Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner Dr. H. Wayne Carver — in his televised press conference 3 days after the fact.

My intuitive take on Dr. Carver was that he was a good man who had all this thrust upon him at the last minute out of the blue and didn’t like any of it one little bit. I think he was a “less than willing” participant who in the end agreed to play along for reasons known only to him and his “handlers” at that point. With him my gut leans more toward coercion than bribery, but we will probably never know any more about it than we do right now, with the conceivable exception of a potential “death bed confession” down the road.

If you watch the following controversial video paying close attention to his questionable statements and unorthodox mannerisms, bearing all that I have related to you in mind, I believe you can put some method to his madness: Clearly “under control” and generally clueless, not at all certain what he should say, could say or shouldn’t say, visably wriggling like a fresh caught fish on a hook he couldn’t get off of, but wriggling nonetheless and just wanting off of it more than anything…

Again, if you listen to his statements very carefully, you will get the most “skinny” you’re ever going to get from any of the participants involved that day in terms of what was actually going on.

My personal fav (paraphrasing): “…as for the people of Newtown, I hope this doesn’t all come crashing down on their heads later on…”

Thanks Dr. Carver! I get it: as your rather cryptic and thinly-veiled indictment of the complicity of a goodly portion if not all of the local residents in this fraudulent dog and pony show (as was necessarily required in this particular instance) fits the available puzzle pieces as they have manifested themselves over time thus far, which tend to portray a massive amount of funding having been pumped into an “area so deeply underwater it was struggling for its very survival” in general over the previous three years, and the startling transformation of “a particularly seedy part of town, chiefly known for its bars, bikers and prostitutes” into a “Mayberry-like village reminiscent of an on-location movie set”.

Sandy Hook Elementary Aerial View

________________________________________

There’s a lot of controversy swirling around one Christopher A. Rodia in conjunction with the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings that took place in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012.

All of this stems from information contained in the live police radio broadcast captured as the event unfolded by Radioman. Where’s Radioman when you need him? Well he was on the job, as usual, and captured everything for posterity and further analysis.

During that captured broadcast, an unidentified law enforcement agent is heard to “run the tag” of the confirmed shooter suspect vehicle, a black 4-door late model Honda Civic, bearing a Connecticut license plate numbered: 872-YEO.

Not long afterward, a name is announced : Christopher A. Rodia. Now if those two dots connect, then we have Mr. Rodia tied to the crime, if only through ownership of the vehicle — or one of the vehicles — utilized in its commission.

But therein lies the rub and all the controversy: we’re not sure that they do, and even have evidence they don’t, which would tend to “unlink” Mr. Rodia from any involvement in the shootings. In fact, it would help establish the very best kind of alibi for him as having been a good 45 miles away at the time the shootings occurred at approximately 9:30 AM.

***************

We’re going to dig up everything relevant we can on this, right here, right now, and at the end of all that you can draw your own conclusions as usual…

Confirmed Shooting Suspect Vehicle Recovered From School Parking Lot — Connecticut License Plate Number: 872 YEO

Police: No Newtown Conspiracy

NORWALK  — In the dark and shadowy world of Internet bloggers and conspiracy theorists, Christopher Rodia is a mystery man connected to last month’s school shooting in Newtown. But police say that’s just not true.

Still, that hasn’t stopped the postings and hasn’t stopped Rodia from receiving death threats.

Sites like USAHitman, “a conspiracy and alternative news site,” say the black Honda confiscated at the scene of the Dec. 14 mass murders belonged to Rodia, based on a policeman’s call to dispatch on an audiotape posted by Radioman911TV.

On that tape, Rodia’s name can be heard shortly after a police officer calls in the license plate, 872-YEO, as the “possible suspect vehicle.”

But while Rodia admits to run-ins with the law, including several pending larceny, forgery and narcotics cases, he says he wasn’t anywhere near the school on the day of the shootings that left 26 dead, including 20 first-graders.

“That was such a heinous crime, I don’t want to be connected to it in any way,” Rodia said.

He says he was miles away in Greenwich, getting a warning for illegally parking in a fire zone. “I was with my niece driving my mother’s sage green Nissan,” the 43-year-old Norwalk resident said.

Greenwich Detective Vincent O’Banner remembers pulling Rodia over in that city around the time of the Newtown shootings. “I do remember that,” he said. “I gave him a verbal warning.”

While the school shooting is still an active case, State Police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said there was only one shooter: Adam Lanza, 20, who took his own life at the scene.

“We aren’t looking for anybody else — for any other person,” Vance said Wednesday, adding he has never heard of Rodia.

The car confiscated at the scene, the black Honda with that license plate, belongs to a relative of Lanza’s and not to Rodia, he said.

But that’s hasn’t eased Rodia’s fears, the result of numerous death threats he has received due to the Internet postings. “A guy in one of the calls starts swearing at me, then says he’ll kill me and burn down my house while I’m sleeping,” he said.

“I’m a big boy and can take care of myself,” he said, but added his 72-year-old mother, Diane, is afraid to have her young grandchildren come to visit because of the threats.

“We shouldn’t have to be worrying about this,” his mother said. Rodia said the Norwalk police have been called.

“We were there on Dec. 27 about a posting on YouTube,” said Norwalk Police Lt. Praveen John. A complaint was filed, but it didn’t include concerns about any threats, he said, adding that particular post has been taken down.

Other postings, including those by USAHitman, and others like Godlike Productions, a site for conspiracy theorists as well as those interested in UFOs and the lunatic fringe, remain on the Internet.

The headline on one USAHitman posting reads: “Adam Lanza’s car registered to Christopher Rodia: The conspiracy begins.”

That site is run by Jim, a New Jersey resident who declined to give his last name. He calls himself a blogger and said posting stories like the one about Rodia is his “hobby.”

He said he didn’t verify the information he reposts from other sites to see if it’s accurate. “I have a full-time job and don’t have time to research the stories,” he said. “I like to post things I find interesting. I update the stories when more stuff comes out.”

“That’s the problem,” said Norwalk police Lt. John. “Some things are posted, but not verified.”

However, “Spitfire list,” a website of blogs by anti-fascist researcher and radio personality Dave Emory, has updated its information concerning Rodia, saying he “appears to be innocent and only coincidentally caught up in this event” and not driving the “possible suspect vehicle” mentioned on the tape.

“This is a reminder of why we must maintain the stance of really believing these individuals that get swept up in the post-tragedy aftermath are innocent until proven guilty, especially early on when minimal info is available,” according to a posting on that site. “The guy (Rodia) didn’t deserve this so if you meet him, buy him a beer (assuming you’re 21+).”

As for Rodia’s pending criminal cases, he said they’re related to a problem he had with pain killers, the result of taking medication for an injury he sustained about a year ago. He said he’s been in drug counseling and has been “clean since July.” (Sources: Anne M. Amato, ctpost.com, Jan. 3, 2013)

12/14/12 Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting – Radio traffic from Newtown PD & FD mixed with CT State Police. Original audio tracks provided by RadioReference.com under Creative Commons license. This video is copyright Radioman911.com.

(NOTE: This recording also contains police radio traffic from Fairfield County unrelated to this incident. Please read the letter below posted with permission from Greenwich PD)

***************

Dear Sir:

Your upload to YouTube relative to the Newtown CT Shooting radio traffic has caused quite a stir as it relates to a Mr. Christopher Rodia. I’m not sure where you sourced your feed, but the traffic related to Mr. Rodia is from a 800 MHz six-channel trunked LMR system in use in Greenwich, CT. Greenwich is approximately 45 miles away from Newtown. The Greenwich system carries only municipal Greenwich traffic (public safety and non-public safety) and is in no way connected to the state’s 800 MHz trunked system or Newtown’s.

I am certain of this because after the matter (and all of the Internet Conspiracy Theory buzz – just google “Christopher Rodia”) was brought to our attention, we went back and checked our recordings for December 14. In addition to just recognizing the voices involved as Greenwich Police Officers and Dispatchers, we have all of the audio from our recording system that matches all of the “Rodia” traffic (and some of the other unrelated-to-Newtown casualty call traffic that occurs at the same time.)

In any event, I’m sure you’ll want to help clarify this matter. The “Rodia” traffic is definitely contemporaneous – but from miles away. This has unfortunately additionally clouded an already confusing and emotional issue. Worse, it has brought considerable (and wholly undeserved) angst to Mr. Rodia. Anything you can do to help clear this up would certainly be appreciated.

Feel free to message me back with any questions. I can also be contacted at mkordick@greenwichct.org.

Yours Truly,

Capt. Mark Kordick
Commander – Operations Division
Greenwich Police Dept.

This recording was posted for its educational value in documenting the professional public safety response to a horrible American tragedy. While enlightening access, scanner recordings should not be regarded as the closest form of the truth, nor should interpretations of unintelligible radio traffic gleaned from them. Suggesting that the police and/or media have altered the facts of the event is disrespectful to all those who suffered a loss or participated in the rescue efforts on that day.

The digital noises that are heard throughout the recording are encrypted transmissions. An effort was made to reduce the volume of those transmissions during the recording process. Encryption is used by many police departments as a method of protecting sensitive information from hitting the airwaves. Its use is a sign that tactical procedures necessary for officer safety are being enacted.

There is routine CT State Police and municipal radio traffic taking place during this recording, so not everything heard is related to the incident. There is information about two occupants in a van which turned out to be either unrelated or unfounded. There is also speculation that some unintelligible radio traffic that may contain the word “Adam” is referring to the suspect. The word Adam is the police phonetic alphabet for the letter “A”, often used as part of a unit identifier. (Source: Radioman 911TV)

Partial Transcript: Does NOT Go with the Audio Above

The Connecticut State police scanner audio from the morning of Dec. 14th 2012, as provided by Radioreference.com, begins at 9.34am and lasts for one hour until 10.34am i.e. it begins at about the time Lanza is said to have entered the school and lasts for one hour.

First audio segment: 9.34am – 10.04am

At 00:15, an officer refers to an “apartment door” and says “he is not responding to me verbally.”

At 1:55 an officer seems to be reading out an license plate and refers to a ‘Camry’ which is likely to refer to a Toyota Camry car.

At 4:28 a female officer says “we’re outside waiting for the ok to go in.”

At 5:15 the same female officer says “it’s now in lock down.”

At 6:15 a female officer says: “Dickenson drive, 12 Dickenson drive” (this appears to be both the address of the fire house at the entrance to the SH school driveway which was the designated staging area AND the address of SH school itself).

At 6:20 an officer says: “car is responding the shooter is apparently still shooting in the officer area 12 Dickenson drive.”

At 6:47 an officer says: “personnel take exit 10 then a left on 34 then continue on riverside road, Dickenson drive, make sure you have your vest on.”

For the next few minutes there are various communications that seem to relate to officers arriving at SH school. At 8:39 for example an officer asks for “directions again please” another officer then gives the same directions to SH school for officers arriving from some distance away that are clearly NOT familiar with the area. That is to say, they are out of town CT. State Police.

At 9:18 an officer says “I have Newtown on the line yet.”

Another officer responds: “Get Newtown on the line so we are coordinating with them they may just want us to establish a perimeter”.

At 10:45 more instructions are given about which exit to take and how to get to SH school. These are clearly not the communications of police that are familiar with the area. That is, they are not Newtown police.

At 11:49 an officer calls out a license plate “X-ray Libra Golf, 941″.

Then at 12:15 we hear a female officer or dispatcher say: “We’ve got an injured person in room number 9 with numerous gunshot wounds.”

Between 13 and 14 minutes, more descriptions of how to get to SH are given.

At 15:00 an officer says “negative on description, ok, shots were fired about 3 mins ago, quiet at the time.”

Then there are more descriptions of how to get to SH School.

At 17:30 an officer says: “can you swing down here and get us a pink slip for his toll form please?”

At 18:18 an officer says “do you have a case number on this”?

A female responds “number is 18264.”

At 18:38 an officer says “no violation, just the same kind of complaint from yesterday that he forgot the…”

At 19:15 an officer says “Newtown’s reporting one suspect down, the building has now been cleared.”

At 20:23 an officer says “Dickenson 91 in the liberty way parking lot, reported no injuries but possible side airbag deployed.”

At 20:45 another officer says “… motor vehicle stop…”

At 21:58 another officer says “same location 544 Xray Charlie Lima Connecticut 40″

At 22:47 another officer says “got a speed limit sign down.”

At 25:13 more directions are given to police officers who are arriving to the scene of the SH shooting.

At 26:24 an officer says “33 headquarters, motor vehicle stop” the same officer repeats “motor vehicle stop.”

Immediately after this a female voice says “12 Dickenson drive, Dickenson drive.”

At 27:00 the same voice that said “33 headquarters, motor vehicle stop” at 26:24, says: “722 VHA, radar.”

At 28:56 an officer says: “street, near a park, connected trailer V87 278 unsecured load.”

For the next few minutes there are intermittent police communications that appear to be about the SH response.

Segment ends 30:32

Second audio segment 10.04am – 10.34am

At 1:20 a female (possibly a dispatcher) says: “please respond, liberty way […].

At 1:39 an officer says “Connecticut 872 Y Yankee, E Echo, O Oscar, 872 YEO possible suspect vehicle.”

At 2:04 an officer with a deep voice says: “run the eh… operator, he’s a Florida license Connecticut as well, first name is Rodia, R-O-D-I-A, Christopher A. Date of birth is, eh…August 6th ’69.”

For the next 8 minutes there are various communications all of which appear to refer to SH, people being evacuated, staging areas and more directions for CT. State Troopers who are still arriving.

Then at 10:15 an officer says: “665 YRG.”

At 11:34 and for the next few minutes we have yet more directions about how to get to SH school.

At 15:34 an officer says: “we have big furret? Connecticut 258 Yankee Yankee Hotel, 258 YYH, Laser.”

For the next 6 or 7 minutes the transmissions are all about SH and the staging areas etc. and people coming out of the building.

At 22:02 an officer says: “763 Zula Rima Julliet, 763 TLJ Lucifer.”

At 22:36 what sounds like the same officer says: New Jersey plates, a couple of occupants, eh…not sure where exactly on stoneway, I got cut off on the caller…”

At 25:12 what sounds like the same officer says: “Fat van? near 55 stoneway when you’re ready. Jersey, Charlie 6 6 Bravo SS, New Jersey, Charlie 66 Bravo Sierra Sierra, there’ll be a few males in the van…”

27:10 an officer says: “Ford Econoline, eh registered to the Courier car rental out of Wayne New Jersey.”

Another officer responds, the occupants are out of state they’re doing a documentary on owl(?) hunting in Canaan (?)

The rest of the audio refers mainly to the SH police response. (Source: BeforeItsNews.com)

Christopher A. Rodia - Consolidated Property Tax Statement 2011

According to the source of this document, BeforeItsNews.com, if Christopher Rodia owned a black Honda Civic, it would be clearly listed here. But the satellite imagery below seems to reveal a similar black vehicle parked in the driveway of the Rodia family residence in Norwalk.

Christopher A. Rodia at Residence

There has been some speculation over whether or not the right house was designated by the satellite imagery applications, but a careful analysis of this photograph, recently taken at his residence, tends to support their accuracy. Same power pole, sidewalk and tree next door.

________________________________________

Okay, there’s plenty more out there, but what we have here now represents a well-rounded overview and the best available evidence to date. There is nothing whatsoever other than the Radioman broadcast linking Rodia to the crime that I have ever turned up so far, with the singular exception of the Radioreference.com broadcast our transcript was drawn from, which amounts to the same thing…

Although I do find it a bit odd that both of the only two satellite photographs of his residence available just happen to depict a black passenger car parked in the driveway and nothing else. I really didn’t want to see that while striving to let him off the hook scot-free. But there it is, begging explanation and going without. Is it the black Honda Civic? Could be.

***************

But at the end of all that and until that Honda’s tag is run by someone other than “the authorities” who can verify his source and that it does in fact come back to Christopher A. Rodia, I would say this is simply a red herring that got blown up over an authentic coincidence. It happens.

I’ve sat and watched various other individuals bend over backwards trying every trick in the book to link Chris Rodia to this crime by any other means or method — and fail, in my estimation. The bottom line in my opinion: there’s nothing here. He just happend to be getting pulled over in Greenwich and his name announced over the air at the most inopportune time imaginable.

If I ventured to make any other assessment about Christopher A. Rodia, I’d say he’s just one of those unfortunates — and they do exist — that just tends to experience a lot of bad luck generally. Excluding the explosion of national alternative media hype that followed this particular incident, it was just another day at the office for him, parking illegally in a fire zone and getting harrassed by the police. If he’d only been parked where he was supposed to be intead of where he wasn’t he could have saved himself a whole lot of trouble and could have continued to dwell in blissful anonymity.

***************

So let that be a lesson to you too, boys and girls, next time you’re eyeing that fire zone or handicapped spot and thinking how attractive it looks, how many steps it will save you… DON’T DO IT!

All this,  could happen to you…

Listen, I’ve been looking at evidence that swings both ways on that Rodia/black Honda thing. As far as I’m concerned, the jury’s still out, but if my very life depended on the right assumption, at this point I’d have to lean toward that car not being his, and him not being there. If for no other reason than to give him the benefit of the doubt, which is tradition in cases where the jury’s authentically out: innocent until proven guilty.

I’m trying to get all that evidence posted up here in the next day or so. I was going to pin it to that Sandy Hook Central piece, but I may just create a whole new article out of it and post it to the top.

It’s likely Rodia was approximately 45 miles away in neighboring Greenwich, CT, and official statements have been issued to that effect, by Lt. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police, for one. Vance also issued a statement claiming the Honda’s registration came back to a “Lanza family member”, but no mention of which one.

***************

I’ll lay it on the line: I’ve probably spent as much time and effort at this as anyone, I’ve invested quite a large number of hours exhaustively poring over pretty much everything there is to go over in this case, although I’ll be the first to admit that only really scratches the surface, and in fact managed to raise a lot more questions than it provided any viable, authoritative answers.

But at the end of all that and weighing out everything I’ve seen and heard with at least a valiant effort toward genuine objectivity, I smell a massive cover-up here, and it is my belief that it amounted to a false-flag attack of some nature. That one way or another, this event was either staged, orchestrated or manipulated. One way or another. And that we’re witnessing a massive cover-up as we speak as a result. There are just too many oddities with this case, and that’s to be expected with a false flag attack.

This is simply my current “working hypothesis” and is subject to modification at such time conclusive evidence arrives to lean me in another direction. So far that hasn’t happened, I just see more evidence of a cover-up accumulating. But I’m striving to keep a completely open mind.

***************

There is SO much more to do here, however, so much left to be done. To this very moment, I don’t know of any existing official documentation available on who that black Honda registration actually comes back to. Now back when I was paying the rent with this kind of thing, and in my state, that was public information. Public information means anyone off the street can just go into the appropriate office or agency and obtain that information freely. But you have to go in. You have to be there. So it would take boots on the ground, logically.

And that’s probably the case here. At least I’m travelling on that assumption until I find out different, based on my own personal experience.

So hey! Tell me why no one has actually done this. Why no one has just run that tag to see who it really comes back to. It should be public information, one way or another. Although depending on the situation, one might have to sneak through the back door to obtain official documentation of ownership, say through insurance records or that sort of thing.

I don’t know, just saying there has to be a way to get to that legitimate information… how hard could it be? But this really needs to be done and done yesterday, so we can either put this Rodia thing to rest and get it out of the way, or pursue it further if it looks like it’s warranted.

The Rodia controversy is shaky and can go either way, in my opinion. There’s a possibility, based on what I’ve seen and heard so far, that that is Rodia’s car, and that Rodia may have been the second shooter and the individual we see running through the woods in the raw footage, and eventually being apprehended and detained.

Somebody was, we just don’t know who. It could have been Rodia. Or it could have been anyone. We just don’t know. We don’t have enough to go on in order to form a definitive conclusion one way or another, in my humble opinion. In that case, you give the guy the benefit of the doubt and press on…

Gun Control March on Washington 1-26-2013

________________________________________

Residents of Newtown, Conn., the scene of a school massacre in which 20 children and six adults were killed last month, joined thousands of people gathered on the National Mall in Washington on Saturday for a march supporting gun control.

Similar organized demonstrations were planned in support of gun control in about a dozen other places across the United States, according to organizers.

In addition to the 100 people who traveled together from Newtown, organizers said participants from New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia would join the demonstration.

Alongside Mayor Vincent Gray, a crowd that stretched for about two blocks marched down Constitution Avenue toward the Washington Monument, where speakers called for a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition. Some of the demonstrators held signs that read “We Are Sandy Hook.”

Education Secretary Arne Duncan addressed the crowd, saying he and President Barack Obama would work to enact gun control policies. “This is about trying to create a climate in which our children can grow up free of fear,” he said.

“We must act, we must act, we must act,” Duncan said.

Demonstrators held signs that read “Ban Assault Weapons Now,” “Stop NRA” and “Gun Control Now.” Other signs carried the names of victims of gun violence.

The silent march is organized by Molly Smith, artistic director of Washington’s Arena Stage, and her partner.

“With the drum roll, the consistency of the mass murders and the shock of it, it is always something that is moving and devastating to me. And then, it’s as if I move on,” Smith told the AP. “And in this moment, I can’t move on. I can’t move on.

“I think it’s because it was children, babies,” she said. “I was horrified by it.”

The event is co-sponsored by One Million Moms for Gun Control, an independent organization that is also responsible for similar demonstrations in cities such as San Francisco, Chicago and Austin, Texas.

The Newtown massacre has reignited the debate over firearms in the United States, and last week Obama laid out a series of measures intended to curb gun violence, most significantly proposals to limit the size of ammunition magazines, ban assault weapons and require universal background checks on firearm purchases.

Earlier this month, New York lawmakers approved the toughest gun control law in the nation, expanding the state’s existing assault weapons ban and addressing gun ownership by those with mental illnesses. (Sources: Becky Bratu, NBC News)

CNN Sandy Hook Hoax Footage

________________________________________

Thanks to an ever-vigilant follower, “UpAces88”, we now have this to consider. Also, see my Alex Jones video attached to one of these articles for a live on-air interview with a caller local to Newtown, where he describes witnessing such an event, saying that he was at another nearby school where police were just milling around there sitting on their hands doing nothing, then all of a sudden rushed into the building. This occurred around about the same time the Sandy Hook thing was going down, according to him.

If I have time and can find that video I’ll stick it on here…

***************

At the words “they arrived to carnage,” the CNN Anderson Cooper report cuts to helicopter footage of seven police officers charging across a parking lot and toward a school. It is breaking news coverage of the Sandy Hook shooting just hours earlier.

The three-minute report posted on the day of the shootings at the official CNN website is entitled Tragedy Strikes at Elementary School. But the school is almost certainly not Sandy Hook. It is St. Rose of Lima School, a private school a few miles away, also in Newtown.

________________________________________

________________________________________

The helicopter footage is broadcast at 8 seconds into the CNN report, and again at 1:02 on the time counter. A close examination of the landscaping, parking lot markings, and the distinct curvature of the sidewalk reveals that no such terrain exists at Sandy Hook Elementary School. However, a Google Earth satellite photo shows the true location almost beyond a reasonable doubt.

It is not known whether the rush to the building of the seven officers seen in the clip is a drill. Also unknown is when it took place.

The GPS coordinates of the St. Rose of Lima School are: latitude 41.415154, longitude -73.297764. The street address which can be entered into the Google Earth search box to find the location is 40 Church Hill Rd, Newtown, CT. Google Earth is a free internet download which allows users to view satellite photos of any place on the planet in minute detail. Users can zoom in on details as small as cars or streetlights, or zoom out until the whole planet can be viewed on the screen.

At :08 on the time counter in the disputed CNN footage, police can be seen running around a curved landscape feature from which diagonal lines radiate on the parking lot asphalt. At 1:02 on the time counter the same clip is played again, this time more extensively. Officers run onto a long, curving white sidewalk next to a building. A utility room of some sort can be seen on the roof, near a metallic, grill-like device, perhaps a solar collector.

An examination of a satellite photo of Sandy Hook shows no such grouping of features. An anaysis of the satellite photo of St. Rose of Lima School, however, reveals these precise features in detail. It is nearly indisputable that the the site where the officers are shown running is St. Rose of Lima School, not Sandy Hook.

***************

In the CNN report, the second appearance of the footage takes place in the context of a cut to Lt. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police at a press conference on that day. The script runs as follows:

Vance (at press conference):

“Off-duty troopers responded to the school, and with Newtown police immediately upon arrival, entered the school and began a complete active shooter search of the building.”

As the report cuts to the charging officers, the CNN voice-over says:

“They arrived to carnage.”

The clip was run on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360. The theme of Cooper’s 360 program is “Keeping them honest.”

As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends.

A considerable amount of evidence has been withheld by authorities, who in a telling move have successfully postponed public disclosure of items culled from Nancy and Adam Lanzas’ residence and vehicles for an additional ninety days. [1]

At the same time what has been revealed and captured in press reports suggests how from missing suspects and evidence to unrevealed corpses much is still unknown and mainstream news outlets have been at least complicit in what could conceivably be described as the Sandy Hook massacre’s constructed reality. In this way unseen and largely unaccountable authorities set the agenda of the reportage through a titillating storyline reliant on an unsettling symbolic landscape to further develop and cultivate audience credulity.

The spectacle came complete with its own features specially designed for those with a penchant for pointing to intrigue. Shortly after the shooting prominent Arizona political figure and former gubernatorial aspirant Michael Harris opined that the shooting was carried out by an Israeli paramilitary team. Veterans Today  Editor Gordon Duff amplified this speculative assertion through a brief article carried by Iran’s PressTV that went viral, becoming the Iranian news outlet’s most read item ever. [2]

Despite compelling geopolitical and diplomatic conditions the claim cannot be verified because the identities of the two-to-four additional suspected gunmen apprehended by Newtown and Connecticut state police remain undisclosed while almost all identity-specific references to these suspects were scrambled on the audio recording of the emergency dispatch-responders exchange. Were these men possibly playing roles in an emergency drill?

Much can still be gleaned from the press coverage of Sandy Hook. Most importantly, as with the events of 9/11 that ushered in the interminable “war on terror” and police state, the techniques that have emblazoned Sandy Hook in public consciousness require continued scrutiny if only for the fact that they will almost certainly be deployed to create similar disaster scenarios, likely in the near-term.

Was Sandy Hook a Relocated Emergency Drill?

At 9:53AM, no more than ten minutes after the reported shooting ceased, the Associated Press published a story, “Official with Knowledge of Connecticut School Shooting Says 27 Dead, Including 18 Children.” AP and the Washington Post have since removed the story from their websites in lieu of subsequent reports that took their cue from a press conference scheduled for later that day.

Indeed, aside from internal police accounts of what took place inside Sandy Hook Elementary there is little information available to piece together what may have actually transpired inside the school. No photographic or video footage of the crime scene have been made publicly available and major media have to a large degree based their conclusions on Connecticut Medical Examiner H. Wayne Carver’s verbal account of the postmortem which is at best ambiguous. [3]

Two weeks after the incident an attorney representing the family of one six-year-old Sandy Hook student came forth with a $100 million lawsuit because their child “sustained emotional and psychological trauma and injury” when she, like several other children and staff, heard “‘cursing, screaming, and shooting’ over the school intercom.” The suit has since been withdrawn. [4]

Coverage of the event by the modest local weekly the Newtown Bee is most revealing in its combined discrepancies, vagueness, and brevity. In a December 14 article unidentified school personnel were floridly commended for their courage. Among them were school principal Dawn Hochsprung, who recounted to Bee Editor John Voket [5] how “a masked man entered the school with a rifle and started shooting multiple shots – more than she could count – that went ‘on and on.’”

The problem with the account was that it conflicted with a subsequent storyline where Hochsprung was the first to be killed by the gunmen. Three days later the paper issued a retraction and revised the story further. [6]  No additional explanation was provided concerning what party Volkert spoke to and quoted at the crime scene, suggesting from the onset a partly botched attempt at establishing a well-worn storyline.

Along these lines the same article relates what under the circumstances seems like an odd exchange between law enforcement and the school’s staff. Shortly after the incident an unidentified woman wearing a Connecticut State Police jacket addressed the group of teachers and staff who were consoling each other in the empty Sandy Hook apparatus bays. She complimented them on their individual and “exemplary” efforts following the procedures they were taught to ensure the protection of as many children and colleagues as possible. [7]

In the immediate aftermath of a bloody massacre where 27 lay dead or dying is this the appropriate time for a “post-game pep talk” and slaps on the back? What this closely resembles is the breakdown of a shooting drill, one that proceeded with violent sound effects broadcast through the school’s intercom system. In fact, on the same day the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection in association with the Federal Emergency Management Agency were carrying out a “Planning for the Needs of Children in Disaster” drill in nearby Bridgeport. [8]  Was the exercise location changed to Newtown at the last minute?

Close analysis of circumstances surrounding the event including unusual emergency procedures and news outlets’ interactions with alleged victim families following the shooting reveals important recurrent features and figures that further call the official account into question.

________________________________________

A Phantom Evacuation?

Additional facets of coverage and maneuvers suggesting the possibility of an at least a partially staged event include the choice of the Sandy Hook Fire and Rescue Company’s headquarters as an evacuation point for the school’s students. This is accompanied by a lack of photographic or video evidence of such a widespread evacuation, bizarre interview footage of idle and wandering families alongside an emotional man who just happens across a half dozen Sandy Hook first graders in his front lawn who apparently witnessed their teacher’s murder.

________________________________________

Newtown Bee

Associate Editor Shannon Hicks asserts that she was among the first on the scene at Sandy Hook, driving behind police and “taking photographs immediately through the windshield of her car, with one hand on the steering wheel and one holding her camera.” [9] Strangely, however, at best only two of Hicks’ photos actually emerge from the series—the famous shot of about fifteen students in conga line formation evidently moving across the parking lot en route to the fire station and a second of state police officers appearing in the December 14 Bee report that is later expunged.

________________________________________

Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings

The image that wrenched a nation… but this is it, there’s nothing else we’re ever shown that would reflect a panicky mass exodus of some 600-odd  students and staff. Strangely, a couple of kids toward the rear of this conga line appear to be actually having fun, while others hardly seem concerned at all, given the extreme nature of their situation.

________________________________________

Hicks’ ferocity and determination to capture the scene only yields a few published photos at a time when corporate media outlets were very eager for such documentation, while no other photo or video evidence have emerged indicating such a widespread exodus from the school.

Nor is there any rationale provided in reportage on exactly why the fire station is even designated as an evacuation point. The choice is unusual because the school has only one route in and out of the facility—Dickenson Drive—and in the event of an actual emergency children are forced to parade down a street as police cars, fire engines, and ambulances race the other way. Many schools use their adjoining parking lots as a rendezvous point, and Sandy Hook’s is particularly capacious.

Despite this dangerous and untenable set of conditions Sandy Hook students rehearsed this very scenario less than two months prior, as revealed in a photo Tweeted on October 17 by Principal Hochsprung. The image depicts a much larger assemblage of students in the lot behind the Sandy Hook fire station.

Itinerant “Crisis Actors”?

Following an evacuation of such magnitude the Sandy Hook fire depot would have been bursting at the seams with over six hundred children and staff, and at least as many family members, in addition to police, fire and medical personnel. Yet apart from a large array of emergency vehicles at the site no aerial footage indicates activity on this scale at any point following the shooting.

Instead, there are numerous strange encounters between broadcast journalists and small and sporadic group of wandering parents and children, some of whom are at best moderately curious and far from grief-stricken or hysterical at the prospect that their child may have been caught in the deadly assault. After such a harrowing event why are select would-be family members and students lingering in the area and repeatedly offering themselves for interviews? A possible reason is that they are trained actors working under the direction of state and federal authorities and in coordination with cable and broadcast network talent to provide tailor-made crisis acting that realistically drives home the event’s tragic features.

One organization providing such services is the Colorado-based Vision Box’s acting troupe Crisis Actors. The entourage’s personnel are “available nationwide for active shooter drills and mall shooting full-scale exercises.” Crisis Actors “develop and portray characters in emergency training scenarios,” Vision Box’s website reads.

The intensity at which they work recreates real life pressures that first responders going through the training must cope with … This special group has sessions with police officers, 911 operators, school administrators, mall security, radio experts, and school safety training professionals. There is an endless amount of scenarios this group can tackle, which range anywhere from weather issues, to a missing child, to an unknown intruder.

According to Crisis Actors website group members work in association with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and “can play the part of the shooters, mall employees, shoppers in the mall, shoppers who continue to arrive at the mall, media reporters and others rushing to the mall, and persons in motor vehicles around the mall.” They are also trained to “play the role of citizens calling 911 or mall management, or posting comments on social media websites.”

Is it possible that such actors were utilized in Newtown to control the event’s depiction and magnify its effect on public opinion? With the exception of police and government officials, the shocked and grief-stricken students, family members and pedestrians captured in photos from the shooting’s aftermath are almost entirely anonymous. Further, the suggestion of collaborative efforts between journalists and families is evident in many of the interviews with family members, such as this surprisingly aborted exchange between a would-be parent and journalist.

Reporter: Sir, can I talk to you a second here? We’re Channel Two in New York. How did you find out about this, uhm, terrible tragedy?
[Reporter approaches family of three with third grade daughter and apparent Sandy Hook student accompanying them.-JT]
Unidentified Mother: OK. My daughter’s in third grade. We got, uhm, an automated call from, uhm, from the town—
Reporter: Yeah?
Mother: –that there had been a shooting.
Reporter: Sure.
Mother: Uh, nothing about where the shooting was, and that the schools were on lock down.
Reporter: So you were assuming it was probably the high school at first, right?
[Note that the mother has yet to say anything about having a son attending the local high school.]
Mother: Of course, and my son’s at the high school and I text him. He said, “Everything’s fine here.”
Reporter: Yeah.
Unidentified Mother: And then I got another text from, uh, CBS.

With virtually hundreds of students, faculty, staff and their families looking for each other and being reunited around the scene one would think journalists would have a broad range of interviewees from which to choose. Yet the same mother and daughter are again captured the morning of the shooting by an NBC affiliate.

Unidentified Mother: Another friend of mine said that, uhm, there was a man—masked man came in and just started shooting.
Unidentified Daughter: When we were gone doing morning meeting [sic] like, we heard like, shots and everybody went on the ground and Ms. Martin just closed the door and we went to the corner.

________________________________________

In the same news clip another male child describes in unusual detail how he narrowly escaped the gunman’s hail of bullets.

Unidentified male student: I heard something like a person was kicking on a door. Then I turned around and I saw smoke and I smelled smoke. Then (pause) Then bullets whizzed by. Then—then a teacher pulled me in to her room.

Here is the same student speaking to another journalist.

________________________________________

________________________________________

Unidentified male student: I saw some of the bullets going past the hall [sic] that I was right next to and then a teacher pulled me into her classroom.
Reporter: You heard sounds?
Male student: Yes.
Reporter: What did it sound like to you?
Male student: It sounded like someone was kicking a door.

The frequent hesitancy with specific words in this children’s deliveries, combined with a parent allowing their child repeatedly recount such an event and the unemotional, almost identically-worded delivery, suggests how they have been coached to present memorized lines.

Another child by the name of “Alexis Wasick” also makes at least two appearances and, following the unscripted lead of one journalist, recites similar lines in each interview.

________________________________________

________________________________________

CNN Reporter: Joining me is the Wasick family. We have Alexis who is in third grade. You told me you were sitting in class this morning and you saw a lot of police. Tell me-tell me how you found out what was going on.
“Alexis”: Well, we found that there was all these people and we found that [unintelligible] because we were right near the window in our classroom. And like, we saw like police officers and we heard them [directly addressing camera] on the roof and in our building.
[At this point “Alexis” receives some cues from CNN’s reporter.]
Reporter: Was everybody crying, scared, wanting their parents to get them?
“Alexis”: Yeah, they were. And some people were even like, they kind of wish that they got a stomach ache [sic].

________________________________________

________________________________________

On the same day “Alexis” gives a somewhat different account with similar verbiage to an entirely different reporter.

Reporter: What happened?
“Alexis”:[Addressing reporter offscreen] Nothing really [unintelligible] We heard like an ambulance and a police officer come and everybody was a little scared crying and I felt actually a little sick, and I felt like I was going to throw up and [glances at camera] did my teacher too [sic]. [The garbled line, “My teacher did too,” suggests a canned delivery.]
Reporter: How did you get out of there?

Gene Rosen - The Sandy Hook Hero

Gene Rosen, of Newtown, Connecticut: “The Hero of Sandy Hook”

________________________________________

The performance of Sandy Hook resident Gene Rosen suggests how the community members might become intimately enveloped in the unfolding tragedy. Despite the overwhelming federal, state and local police presence blanketing the community on December 14 Rosen explains several days later how while feeding his cat he receives an unexpected visit from six mislaid and forlorn children whose classmates and first grade teacher Victoria Soto were killed in the shooting. “The six who turned up at Rosen’s home apparently ran out of the school past her body,” the New York Post amazingly asserts. [10] Instead of calling the authorities to properly reunite the children with their parents Rosen bizarrely invites them inside his home for 30 minutes to jostle with stuffed animals and describe their ordeal.

________________________________________

________________________________________

In an initial interview Rosen is standing in the driveway of his home and appears overcome with emotion, taking off his glasses while turning away from the camera and wiping eyes. He then proceeds down the driveway toward the front of his house, pointing to where he first spotted the children.

Rosen: Six children, and they were sitting there. They were sitting there, and I had no idea why they were there. And I went down there.
[Cut to Rosen’s hands clutching reading glasses, then back to Rosen.]
Rosen: There’s a school bus driver and she says, “There’s been an incident. And I said, “Just come in the house.” And that’s how it started and I—I brought them in the house.
[Cut to stuffed animals inside Rosen’s house, then back to Rosen.]
Rosen: And then over the next thirty minutes they just described what happened, little-by-little. These two boys kept saying, “We can’t go back to school. We can’t go back to school. Our teacher’s dead—Mrs. Soto. We don’t have a teacher.” And I couldn’t believe it. I couldn’t take that in. I had no idea what had happened. A woman came to my house at twelve o’clock
[Cut to dimly-lit interior of house where Rosen stands before stuffed animals on floor.]
Rosen: Her face—her face looked frozen in-in terror. I’ve never seen a face look like that. She said, “Is my boy here? I heard there were six kids here.” And she said the name of the child. I thought that if she’d been to the Sandy Hook school she thought maybe a miracle from god would have the child in my house. And I looked at the casualty list at six o’clock.
[Hand to eyes and weeping, then shaking head]
Rosen: His name was on it!

Time and again in the wake of the incident Rosen is brought before network cameras to present his maudlin recounting of the surreal and implausible encounter.

Continued Postmortem Uncertainties

To properly identify each victim would have required weighing, measurement, de-robing, washing, with all identifying features such as scars or birthmarks noted. Such standard postmortem procedures, the public is asked to believe, were accomplished at the school as no more than three were treated at the well-prepared Danbury Hospital. [11] According to Carver’s December 15 press conference remarks the teachers and children were processed by the state coroner and his staff at an onsite mobile facility the night of the shooting.

Yet at least one family was not even allowed to see the body of their loved one. “They told me, ‘You can’t see (the body),’” Gilles Rousseau remarked to Radio-Canada, the French-language arm of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. “Because most people he shot, it was two or three shots in the face, point-blank.” [12] If this were the case it puts further pressure on the uncertain notion that Lanza was an expert shot who had the opportunity to uninterruptedly fire at almost inanimate subjects.

Further, without explanation Carver postponed examination of Adam Lanza’s body until two days after the shooting. Jean Henry, a processing technician in Carver’s office, was recently placed on leave when she allegedly brought her husband, an unauthorized party, in to the state morgue to view Lanza’s corpse.

They went to the gurney where Lanza lay, then Henry unzipped the bag so her husband could look at him for a moment, and she closed the bag and they left the room, sources familiar with situation told The Courant Wednesday. [13]

The refusal for at least one family to view the body of their loved one and Henry’s informal intervention both contribute to the uncertainty and ambiguity surrounding what appears as a severely compromised postmortem operation, the gross inconsistencies of which major media have presented to the world as established fact.

ADAM LANZA-SANDY HOOK SCHOOL MASSACRE

Adam Lanza: the most grievously injured of all of the “victims”?  If Sandy Hook didn’t go down as advertised, he may very well be…

________________________________________

Conclusion

As transcribed and analyzed in Part I of this analysis, the unusual testimony of Connecticut’s chief coroner H. Wayne Carver II, ostensibly placed in charge of the Sandy Hook school postmortem. Carver’s December 15 behavior and remarks before the press suggests his clear discomfort and demonstration that he knows very little about the shootings or autopsies themselves. In light of the above the physician’s hesitant performance in Sandy Hook’s tragedy is perhaps not so difficult to explain. At one point Carver even indicates his disapproval of the proceedings by expressing his wish that his staff and “the people of Newtown don’t have it crash on their head later.” Is Carver referring to an embellished event that he has been an unwilling participant in?

As indicated on the Crisis Actors website, performance of this type is now a commonplace feature of widely prevalent “live shooter drills” and may be infused throughout such an event and its aftermath to augment and control a broader narrative intended for public consumption. “The power to make a reportable event,” historian Daniel Boorstin writes, is “the power to make experience.” [14]

Anguished Family Member at Sandy Hook Elementary School Shootings

One of a handful of images which shook the nation to its roots. But again, this is it for anguished relatives on scene that day… there is nothing else. We’ve yet to see a single additional photo that could lend proper credence to this one… not one. A shill, or “crisis actor”, planted in the middle of the confusion? How hard could that be? Another anomaly frequent to Sandy Hook interviewees: no tears… a look of total anguish, on a perfectly dry face.

________________________________________

Along these lines and despite countervailing facts and inconsistencies the official story of the Sandy Hook shooting is now part of the nation’s collective experience, consciousness and memory. To declare that the shooting “never took place” is cause for intense opprobrium in most polite circles where, in familiar Orwellian fashion, the media-induced trance and dehistoricized will to believe maintain their hold. Similarly, an individual who contends that Timothy McVeigh was an accessory in a much larger operation at Oklahoma City, Osama bin Laden was not responsible for the events of 9/11, or the World Trade Center Towers were brought down by controlled demolition is vigorously condemned for thought crimes against the state. Such are the immense dimensions of mass manipulation where fact and tragedy may be routinely revised and reinforced to fit the motives and designs toward a much larger apparatus of social and geopolitical control.

Gene Rosen - The Sandy Hook Hero

Gene Rosen, the man labeled “The Hero of Sandy Hook”, by Nancy Grace and other media sources…

________________________________________

Okay, I get it: Sandy Hook didn’t produce any bonified heros… so we need to make one up. Because we need one. I guess…

So here he is: the “hero”. Really I hate to do this, but “if the glove don’t fit, we gotta acquit” Gene Rosen as the hero of Sandy Hook and go back to the drawing board… please.

Because even in a society as dumbed-down, doped-up, and generally distracted as the one we’re living in now, inviting a handful of kids who are sitting on your front curb into your home for some juice just ain’t gonna fly for hero status. If that were the case, most of the moms scattered throughout America would deserve the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I’ve even been asked-in for some juice here and there a time or two in my day, but I never considered putting the invitation-extender (?) up for sainthood, though I was properly appreciative, I’m sure.

Try again.

Give us a hero we can believe in. Give us a guy with some balls.

***************

You know there’s more to this Gene Rosen thing than meets the eye. It is, in fact — actually by the very quintessential definition of the term itself– corporatist programming. The population at large is currently being programmed with these images and this information, i.e: this Gene Rosen thing, and if you are doing your job you must ask yourself why.

Why him? Why this story? What are the puppetmasters trying to tell me or get me to believe? Or think, or say, or do? And to what end? What is the agenda they are working toward with this particular programming? Or maybe better put: applying it to? I see them putting in the work on this thing, devoting time, effort, manpower — and most importantly: cash — to this Gene Rosen thing, but…

Why?

You should always ask yourself: “Why?”  Because it’s all  programming — all of it. They even call it that as industry SOP: “programming”. And they have spent trillions over generations now to hire the finest “think tanks” to study it and quantify it and enhance the effectiveness of it and so on and so forth and trust me they know just how to pull your chain with it… it’s what they do best.

The first I ever clued into that years ago, was actually over corporate toothpaste commercials. They’ve succeeded in brainwashing the American public into using much more toothpaste on their brushes than they need. The ADA says “a pea-sized amount”. And it’s true… it takes some getting used-to, but it’s really all you need to get the job done effectively.

But the toothpaste models on TV have got the whole country heaping it up and piling it on. Because that keeps you running back for more tubes more often, and parting with more of your hard-earned dough. They don’t care that you’re flushing three quarters of it down the sink drain and spending 2 to 4 times more than you should in a perfect world…

As long as you don’t ever stop…

“I begin to feel like most Americans don’t understand the First Amendment, don’t understand the freedom of speech, and don’t understand that it’s the responsibility of the citizen to speak out.” — Roger Ebert

A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversy at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month’s Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.

Moreover, Doctor James F. Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his memoryholeblog.com. that trained “crisis actors” may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event’s true purpose: gun control.

“As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends,”  writes Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at FAU and a former union leader.

In another post, he says, “While it sounds like an outrageous claim, one is left to inquire whether the Sandy Hook shooting ever took place — at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation’s news media have described.”

FAU is distancing itself from Tracy’s views.

“James Tracy does not speak for the university. The website on which his post appeared is not affiliated with FAU in any way,”  said media director Lisa Metcalf.

Tracy said he knows he has sparked controversy on campus. In one of his courses, called “Culture of Conspiracy,” Tracy said some students have expressed skepticism about his views.

“But I encourage that,”  said Tracy, 47, a faculty member for 10 years. “I want to get students to look at events in a more critical way.”

In the Internet age, “We see more and more professors getting into trouble for what they’re posting on Facebook, or Tweeting,”  said Gregory Scholtz, director of the department of academic freedom at the Association of University Professors. “And administrations are sensitive to bad publicity; they don’t like things that public might find obnoxious or reprehensible. But most reputable administrations stay above the fray and give latitude.”

Robert Shibley, an official with the Philadelphia-based Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, said Tracy is well within his rights of free speech, especially when teaching a course on conspiracy theory.

“The only way that a university would have a right to tone it down, or insist he stop talking about it, is if students come to him and say they find it disturbing,”  said Shibley. “People are allowed to talk about things that are upsetting — for example, abortion.”

On Monday, January 7, the website Global Research posted a timeline written by Tracy which purports to show how federal and local police agencies, abetted by “major media,” conspired early in the Sandy Hook investigation to constuct a scenario pointing to Lanza as ” the sole agent of the massacre” when others may have been involved.

In one of his blog posts, “The Sandy Hook School Massacre: Unanswered Questions and Missing Information,” Tracy cites several sources for his skepticism, including lack of surveillance video or still images from the scene, the halting performance of the medical examiner at a news conference, timeline confusion, and how the accused shooter was able to fire so many shots in just minutes.

In an interview Monday, Tracy said “while it appears that people lost their lives” at Sandy Hook Elementary on Dec. 14, he is not ready to buy that a lone gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, entered the school and methodically shot 20 children and six adults before killing himself.

Lanza is also suspected of killing his mother at their Newtown home before arriving at the school.

Asked if he has been accused of promoting fringe theories, Tracy said, “I do get that sense, from emails and otherwise.”

Tracy said he believes the deaths at Sandy Hook may have resulted from a training exercise. “Was this to a certain degree constructed?”  he said. “Was this a drill?”

“Something most likely took place,”  he said. “One is left with the impression that a real tragedy took place.”

But, he added, he has not seen bodies, or photos of bodies. “Overall, I’m saying the public needs more information to assess what took place. We don’t have that. And when the media and the public don’t have that, various sorts of ideas can arise.”

Tracy said also has doubts about the official version of the Kennedy assassination, the Oklahoma City bombing, the 9-11 terror attacks and the Aurora, Colorado, theater murders.

“I describe myself as a scholar and public intellectual,”  he said, “interested in going more deeply into controversial public events. Although some may see [my theories] as beyond the pale, I am doing what we should be doing as academics.” (Sources: Mike Clary, The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel )
