Political Gun Rights Hypocrisy

“All political power is inherent in the people, and governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, and are established to protect and maintain individual rights.”  — Arizona State Constitution

On Thursday, January 10, 2013, President Barack Obama signed into law a measure giving himself, former president George W. Bush, and all future former presidents and their spouses lifetime Secret Service protection.

The legislation, crafted by Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, rolls back a mid-1990s law that imposed a 10-year limit on Secret Service protection for former presidents. Bush would have been the first former commander in chief affected. (Sources: Olivier Knox, Fox News, Jan. 11, 2013)

These people are just determined to spend more and more of our hard-earned money when we can afford it the least on themselves and their outlandishly lavish lifestyles. Thousand-dollar room service lunches for two, frequent two million-dollar vacations to Hawaii or to the South Pacific, you name it and you can bet confidently they’re sucking it up. And plenty more we don’t know about, to be sure…

When these people want something now they just scribble a signature on a piece of paper and hand it off to someone else to type up and it’s done — “the law of the land”.  We don’t do that here. This ain’t Cambodia.

That’s what you call a fascist state: where the will of the People, along with all of the essential checks and balances which our altruistic and farsighted Founding Fathers built into our historically-unique system of governance, are all conveniently factored-out of the equation entirely, leaving the wolves who’ve usurped the executive branch in the position of a veritable oligarchy… and that’s what we’re experiencing in this nation today.

They’re not passing laws anymore, they’re handing down edicts from on high.

When they feel the need for armed guards for life you know they’re on the wrong road and are generally up to no good — you know we’ve never had that up to now, and nobody’s ever complained. And it’s been over two hundred years and through the very best and worst of times along the way.

But we’ve never had our own government try to shred the Constitution before and basically implement what could only be categorized rationally as an outright internal fascist coup.

Until now.

So this is not by coincidence but rather by design, as these dots connect directly, as does George W. Bush, no matter what the cover story says.

Obama in Public Under Tight Armed Security

This crime cartel — this “gang” — now wants all the power and protection for themselves and little to none for you.  This type of behavior telegraphs to you directly the writing on the wall: it is now us against them, we are no longer on the same side. When we were, they didn’t care about how many guns we had or what type they were, excluding the capacity for fully automatic fire.

That in itself was a 2nd Amendment-shredding ban, and never should have been either placed into effect, or accepted by the American People. It is my personal belief and interpretation that the Second Amendment is, and was originally crafted to be, an absolute: if the Army can carry machine guns, then we should be able to carry them too. They are arms. An absolute.

The Second Amendment is an absolute. “Arms” means whatever arms are available and in vogue in this country generically speaking at any given point in time in its history — and that includes future history as well.

Whatever the state-of-the-art technology is that’s in place and currently in vogue — at any given time — is what the citizen should have not only free and unfettered direct access to, but the inviolable right to bear anywhere, anyplace, any time…

An absolute.

It is my contention that neither the Second Amendment itself , nor its essential absolute quality, have either a shelf life, an expiration date, or a contingency clause. It’s essential inalienable and inviolable quality was meant to act as a pillar of individual Freedom, built upon bedrock of common Liberty. And not to be chipped away at in any regard, thus the singular admonishment attached: “… shall not be infringed.”

An absolute.

That way, we don’t find ourselves waking up one day having to repel ray guns with muzzleloaders, slingshots and pitchforks. Do any of you out there really think the Founding Fathers would have wanted that? That if the Army of a state-turned-tyrannical was carrying ray guns, we’d be dumbed-down to muzzleloaders , so that any erstwhile resistance would be rendered moot?

I don’t think so.

I hate to put it to you like this, but some of you really just need to wake up and get a proper grip on cold reality. Before it’s too late and you’ve got nothing left to call your own.

Obama Screwing America

With these self-serving psychopaths who dare refer to themselves still as “public servants”, there are no absolutes that can’t be worked-around; everything is now fluid… negotiable.

They are now — as they have been for some time — working diligently and tirelessly around the clock in three shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays to do nothing more nor less than strip you of your personal wealth and private property, your personal sovereignty, and your national identity. And that’s the short list.

Really they want everything you’ve got to give and then they want you dead. A domestic animal that lives to consume and produce and breed more domestic animals that produce and consume. All of which are eventually sold to slaughter, at some point in time after their maintenance starts to exceed their usefulness and they’re rendered cost-ineffective.

That’s you…

Government Treating People Like Cattle

That’s how they look at you: crops, cattle, commodities, resources.  Human resources, roughly equivelent to corn, or copper, or cattle. That’s what you are to the government, nothing  more, nothing less. If you can just manage to properly wrap your head around that much you’ll be far ahead of the game and a quantum leap toward personal enlightenment: the government is not your friend.

The Robber Barons

And the low-lifes we’ve got in there now are no one’s friends — no one’s but their own and the global bankers that control them outright. They’ve all been bought and paid for, and have sold you down the river in the process and into the death grip of the globalist central banking elite cartel.

Obama Surrounded By Armed Guards at Airport

This guy doesn’t step out for a burger without a squad of highly-trained, well-armed bodyguards. The way he’s been going at it so far, I can’t say as I blame him… Hey playa, do what you gotta do, dog…but leave our gats alone, yo…

These people are in the process of making a whole lot of enemies for themselves and us, too, around the world as we speak. As much as these people work to terrify you daily with their exquisitely-crafted lies and propaganda, much is held back from you still.

We’re headed nowhere good on a runaway rocket sled, and you need to learn to accept that and embrace it in a way you can use. You need to get right and get ready. You need to be prepared.

We’re either looking at World War III, a civil war, or a foreign incursion of some form, whether it be by the UN International Peacekeeping Force or by the combined Arabic or Muslim forces, or Russia or China or just whoever — the whole world’s a powderkeg right now and ready to blow sky-high.,,

We’re fixin’ to get some of that or all of it… but we’re fixin’ to get something. Because these idiots are not going to stop — or even rest, until we do. That much, if nothing else whatsoever, has become readily apparent to me, and to plenty of others like me.

We’ve now got Russia threatening to nuke us if we don’t lay off the Iranians, and these fools are over here publicly calling their leader a monkey and singing “Bomb – Bomb – Bomb,  Bomb – Bomb – Iran”  (To the tune of the Beach Boys’ Barbara Ann ) !

I’m not making this up as I go along although I would prefer it that way. And that only represents a tiny fraction of all that’s going on right now, and none of it good… none of it. There’s nothing on the horizon that you can point to currently and state legitimately that it looks like something good, coming our way.

Because there is nothing good headed our way — it’s all bad.

There is no happy ending in the cards for us on the road we’re on. And everyone who is anyone is starting to say the same thing, and you need to know that. People in the know are now starting to agree we’ve already crossed the line of no return and we’re going to have to suffer through some kind of melt-down or conflagration before things can be set right.

I certainly hope that’s not the case.

But I do believe that if we don’t get out from under these guys and do it quickly, somehow, we’re set to suffer more that we can bear.

 President Obama Shooting Shotgun

In this piece of visual propaganda Obama seems to be telegraphing the message that he’s not at all anti-gun… guns are good!… as long as they’re crafted from 150 year-old technology, only hold a round or two, and stand a snowball’s chance in hell of going toe-to-toe against any variety of trained militant armed with the latest high-capacity semi and fully-automatic small arms.

Declaring “we’re not going to wait until the next Newtown,” President Barack Obama appealed directly to the American public on Monday to pressure reluctant lawmakers in Congress to move forward with gun control legislation.

Obama flew to Minneapolis, Minn., to urge constituents to contact their representatives and press for a package of new gun laws, including a ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines, universal background checks for gun buyers and new rules targeting gun traffickers.

“We don’t have to agree on everything to agree it’s time to do something,” Obama said, standing in front of a group of uniformed law enforcement officers.

Obama’s campaign-like strategy is designed to maintain a sense of urgency for gun control measures in the wake of the elementary school shootings in Newtown, Conn., that killed 20 elementary school children and 6 adults.

But the president conceded Monday that his plans already face steep hurdles in Congress. “Changing the status quo is never easy,” he said. “This will be no exception.”

Obama’s remarks in Minneapolis reflected the political realities on Capitol Hill, where Democratic leadership aides privately say an assault weapons ban has little chance of passing. The fight will instead center on universal background checks and, some Democrats hope, high capacity magazines.

On Monday, Obama labeled universal background checks as “commonsense” and “smart” reforms that would earn bipartisan support. “There’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to get that done,” he said.

Obama Fake Skeet Shooting Propaganda Pic

Aside from the fact that you generally have to aim somewhere up in the air to hit a clay pigeon, this photographic analysis also casts doubt on this image as being anything more than agenda-reinforcing propaganda.

There’s some evidence of that: while the National Rifle Association says it opposes universal background checks, Republican Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma has been working with New York Sen. Chuck Schumer and other Democrats to craft background check legislation.

For the politically difficult elements of his proposals – the bans on weapons and magazines – Obama set a more modest goal: “That deserves a vote in Congress,” he said.

That’s about the extent of what Senate Democratic aides say they can muster. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who earned a “B” grade from the National Rifle Association, said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that he plans to allow the Senate Judiciary Committee to start writing a gun bill. If it doesn’t initially include the ban, senators could try to add it later in the process, as an amendment on the Senate floor.

Reid has no plans to introduce his own gun bill, a senior Democratic aide said Monday, instead leaving that process to the Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. Still, aides acknowledged, including a gun ban in the overall package could prevent other, more popular gun regulations from passing Congress.

Democratic aides say Leahy hasn’t yet decided exactly what he’ll include in the bill, though he’s introduced a measure that would crack down on people who illegally buy guns to give or sell to others. Before the committee starts writing a bill, planned for later in February, there will be at least two more hearings – one this week in the Constitution Subcommittee and another full committee hearing after that.

Congress held its first hearings on gun control late last month, where National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre clashed with Democratic senators and emerged in opposition to universal background checks.

Obama referred to lobbyists like LaPierre in his remarks, though he didn’t mention the longtime gun advocate by name. He urged Americans to tell Congress if he didn’t speak for them.

“If we’ve got lobbyists in Washington claiming to speak for gun owners saying something different, we’ve got to go to the source,” Obama said. “We cannot allow those filters to get in the way of common sense… keep the pressure on your member of Congress to do the right thing.” (Sources: Kasie Hunt, NBC News, 2/4/2013)

The END Clapboard Image

Obama Shreds the Constitution This NWO shill spent his entire first term thrashing, smashing and trashing the U.S. Constitution

“I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.” ― Ronald Reagan

“But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.” ― John Adams

The Obama re-election dooms the country. It ensures that his philosophy will be imposed for another four years. It ensures the continuing shift away from the Rule of Law, property rights, free men, and free markets.

Obama’s vision of how the world works ensures a dire economy until an economic collapse resets everything. The rest of the world, apparently bigger Obama supporters than U.S. voters, will not be immune from the consequences…

The Fundamentals of Progress

Peace and progress are the children of freedom. The wealth of nations was explained more than two hundred years ago by Adam Smith. Property rights and markets coordinate behavior in a manner that all are made better off by the pursuit of self-interest.

President Obama’s view of the world is in contradiction to anything that has ever succeeded. He believes that elites should manage and direct people’s lives. This fatal conceit, as Friedrich Hayek referred to it, produces failure and misery wherever it is tried.

Ludwig von Mises pointed out that the progress of the West was achieved on a simple idea:

The essential characteristic of Western civilization that distinguishes it from the arrested and petrified civilizations of the East was and is its concern for freedom from the state.

Civilization advanced and prospered on a foundation of private property, defined rights, free men, free markets, and the Rule of Law. Obama’s view is hostile to these pillars of progress despite the lack of evidence of progress for any country that has not adhered to these principles.

There is no evidence of any country which has abandoned these principles ever being able to return to them without major upheaval. Mises observed:

Political ideas that have dominated the public mind for decades cannot be refuted through rational arguments. They must run their course in life and cannot collapse otherwise than in great catastrophe…

The recent election was a prime example of how ratiocination cannot combat ideology. The masses are unable or unwilling to process complex argument in logical fashion. As a result, we reelected a man who does not believe in American values or the principles necessary for progress and well-being. His re-election occurred despite the worst record of domestic and foreign policy outcomes of anyone in the last seven decades.

Where We Are Headed

The United States and Europe have abandoned the fundamentals necessary for progress. Both are hopelessly committed to the failed ideas of Socialism. Both are headed for great catastrophe. The catastrophe extends beyond economic well-being and touches the foundations of society and civilization itself.

We are headed into an economic dark age, where standards of living will continue to decline and may collapse. Societies and civilizations will also regress.

Voluntary cooperation is being replaced by coercion and division. Segments of society are set off against each other. Civilization is regressing toward a Hobbesian outcome:

Whatsoever therefore is consequent to a time of Warre, where every man is Enemy to every man; the same is consequent to the time, wherein men live without other security, than what their own strength, and their own invention shall furnish them withall. In such condition, there is no place for Industry; because the fruit thereof is uncertain; and consequently no Culture of the Earth; no Navigation, nor use of the commodities that may be imported by Sea; no commodious Building; no Instruments of moving, and removing such things as require much force; no Knowledge of the face of the Earth; no account of Time; no Arts; no Letters; no Society; and which is worst of all, continuall feare, and danger of violent death; And the life of man, solitary, poore, nasty, brutish, and short.

Western civilization, once the shining city on the hill, has been tarnished. Western countries have abandoned the principles that made them great and have lost much of their luster. The world may soon be without this beacon of freedom and success.

The Meaning of Obama’s Election

Regarding the specifics of Obama’s reelection, these comments from a perceptive reader, Syrin, are reasonable:

Here’s what this means in my opinion:

1)  Obamacare will be fully implemented

2)  Biggest tax increase in the history of the world will come January

3)  Supreme Court will now be fully liberal

4)  We will surrender more of our rights to the UN – guns will be removed

5)  The end of the US as we ever knew it

That last one is not hyperbole. I still think the election was stolen as I predicted a 5-10 voter fraud margin, and this is indeed the difference, but why would I make that last point? Here’s why. The gov’t will increase IMMENSELY the next four years. Gov’t employees, union members and welfare dependents will be the BIGGEST VOTING FACTION from now until the end of the US society. We turned into England over night and we will never be able to go back. Exit polls showed overwhelming displeasure with Obamacare and they voted for him anyway. We cannot recover from this.

CONSERVATISM AS AN IDEOLOGY IS OVER IN AMERICA ! We are now officially the land of the dependent, jealous and greedy. Punishing success will be codified. No one will go into medicine or any field that takes a lot of time, money sweat and effort to achieve because work and success will no longer be rewarded.

I am serious when I say I will be stunned if the economic collapse doesn’t happen in under two years. This isn’t just an emotional reaction to a loss. These were my thoughts before we knew the results.
Make your peace with your family and prepare.

Where Does This Go?

The mathematics of the debt situation were intractable before the election. Someone truly committed to solving this problem would likely fail because the debt burden has become so large. That assumption will not be tested, because the man elected has no intention of dealing with the issue.

A collapse is now inevitable. Spending will not shrink. Deficits will rise. Taxes will rise. Economic activity will fall. The debt death spiral will strangle economic activity, and ultimately the economy will implode. Societies themselves will likely be sucked into the abyss.

Obama had no viable economic plan for the last four years, and he is still without one. There has been no progress economically. Instead, we are $5 trillion worse off, with nothing to show for it. His spending will continue for the next four years. It is all that he knows.

This election accelerated our spiral toward collapse. Higher spending and more Federal Reserve money-creation will not alter the destination. We are now on the superhighway to ruin. The destination is known; only the estimated time of arrival is not.

December 31, 2011 is a day that will live in infamy within the history of our republic

“The power of the executive to cast a man into prison without formulating any charge known to the law, and particularly to deny him the judgment of his peers, is in the highest degree odious, and the foundation of all totalitarian government whether Nazi or Communist.”  — Winston Churchill

“Is there not some chosen curse, some hidden thunder in the stores of heaven, red with uncommon wrath, to blast the man who owes his greatness to his country’s ruin?”  Joseph Addison

On Saturday, December 31, 2011, President Barack Obama signed S. 1867, the National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, into law, “despite reservations concerning the detention and prosecution of terror suspects”.

The $662 billion defense authorization bill, which funds a wide range of security programs and sets Pentagon policy, calls for the mandatory military detention of al Qaeda terror suspects and requires a waiver to move them to civilian courts.

“I have signed this bill despite having serious reservations with certain provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists,” Obama said in a signing statement. “Ultimately, I decided to sign this bill not only because of the critically important services it provides for our forces and their families and the national security programs it authorizes, but also because the Congress revised provisions that otherwise would have jeopardized the safety, security, and liberty of the American people.”

The president’s signing statement said the administration will “interpret and implement the provisions… in a manner that best preserves the flexibility on which our safety depends and upholds the values on which this country was founded.”

Various civil liberties groups object to the law because it allows for the arbitrary arrest and indefinite detention of suspects without traditional constitutional protections such as the right to an attorney and the right to a speedy trial by a jury of peers.
