A communication professor known for conspiracy theories has stirred controversy at Florida Atlantic University with claims that last month’s Newtown, Conn., school shootings did not happen as reported — or may not have happened at all.

Moreover, Doctor James F. Tracy asserts in radio interviews and on his memoryholeblog.com. that trained “crisis actors” may have been employed by the Obama administration in an effort to shape public opinion in favor of the event’s true purpose: gun control.

“As documents relating to the Sandy Hook shooting continue to be assessed and interpreted by independent researchers, there is a growing awareness that the media coverage of the massacre of 26 children and adults was intended primarily for public consumption to further larger political ends,”  writes Tracy, a tenured associate professor of media history at FAU and a former union leader.

In another post, he says, “While it sounds like an outrageous claim, one is left to inquire whether the Sandy Hook shooting ever took place — at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation’s news media have described.”

FAU is distancing itself from Tracy’s views.

“James Tracy does not speak for the university. The website on which his post appeared is not affiliated with FAU in any way,”  said media director Lisa Metcalf.

Tracy said he knows he has sparked controversy on campus. In one of his courses, called “Culture of Conspiracy,” Tracy said some students have expressed skepticism about his views.

“But I encourage that,”  said Tracy, 47, a faculty member for 10 years. “I want to get students to look at events in a more critical way.”

In the Internet age, “We see more and more professors getting into trouble for what they’re posting on Facebook, or Tweeting,”  said Gregory Scholtz, director of the department of academic freedom at the Association of University Professors. “And administrations are sensitive to bad publicity; they don’t like things that public might find obnoxious or reprehensible. But most reputable administrations stay above the fray and give latitude.”

Robert Shibley, an official with the Philadelphia-based Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, said Tracy is well within his rights of free speech, especially when teaching a course on conspiracy theory.

“The only way that a university would have a right to tone it down, or insist he stop talking about it, is if students come to him and say they find it disturbing,”  said Shibley. “People are allowed to talk about things that are upsetting — for example, abortion.”

***************

On Monday, January 7, the website Global Research posted a timeline written by Tracy which purports to show how federal and local police agencies, abetted by “major media,” conspired early in the Sandy Hook investigation to constuct a scenario pointing to Lanza as ” the sole agent of the massacre” when others may have been involved.

In one of his blog posts, “The Sandy Hook School Massacre: Unanswered Questions and Missing Information,” Tracy cites several sources for his skepticism, including lack of surveillance video or still images from the scene, the halting performance of the medical examiner at a news conference, timeline confusion, and how the accused shooter was able to fire so many shots in just minutes.

In an interview Monday, Tracy said “while it appears that people lost their lives” at Sandy Hook Elementary on Dec. 14, he is not ready to buy that a lone gunman, 20-year-old Adam Lanza, entered the school and methodically shot 20 children and six adults before killing himself.

Lanza is also suspected of killing his mother at their Newtown home before arriving at the school.

Asked if he has been accused of promoting fringe theories, Tracy said, “I do get that sense, from emails and otherwise.”

Tracy said he believes the deaths at Sandy Hook may have resulted from a training exercise. “Was this to a certain degree constructed?”  he said. “Was this a drill?”

“Something most likely took place,”  he said. “One is left with the impression that a real tragedy took place.”

But, he added, he has not seen bodies, or photos of bodies. “Overall, I’m saying the public needs more information to assess what took place. We don’t have that. And when the media and the public don’t have that, various sorts of ideas can arise.”

Tracy said also has doubts about the official version of the Kennedy assassination, the Oklahoma City bombing, the 9-11 terror attacks and the Aurora, Colorado, theater murders.

“I describe myself as a scholar and public intellectual,”  he said, “interested in going more deeply into controversial public events. Although some may see [my theories] as beyond the pale, I am doing what we should be doing as academics.” (Sources: Mike Clary, The Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel )

In their own wet dream, maybe….
The blogger that gathered these statistics…centered them..so I hope they don’t splatter all over the page..
.YOU WILL get the idea though; and I’m telling ya’… it will be almost impossible to get the guns:
A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of states and arrived at a striking
    conclusion:

There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin .
Allow me to restate that number: Over the last several months,Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world.

More men under arms than in Iran .More than France and Germany combined.
These men deployed to the woods of a single American state,Wisconsin, to hunt with
firearms, and no one was killed.
That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan ‘s 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact
that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.
And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states.
    It’s millions more.
    The point?
America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower.

Hunting….it’s not just a way to fill the freezer..It’s a matter of national security.

    ***************************************
That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed.

Food for thought, when next we consider gun control.Have A Great Day!
    ————————————-
Overall it’s true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don’t possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain…what army of

2 million would want to face 30, 40, 50 million armed citizens.

(IF YOU AGREE, AS I DO, PASS IT ON, I FEEL GOOD THAT I HAVE AN ARMY OF MILLIONS WHO WOULD PROTECT OUR LAND AND I SURE DON’T WANT THE GOVERNMENT TAKING CONTROL OF THE POSSESSION OF FIREARMS)

For the sake of our freedom, don’t ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns.

  2. Hey, look what the cat dragged in…

Yeah, this is like a bad dream I can’t
wake up from… Apparently this is the
    latest logical extension of “reality
TV” and all the fakery in the enter-
    tainment industry like CGI chromakey
backgrounds instead of filming on ac-
    tual location, and pitch-correcting
devices for singers who can’t sing but
have the charisma to seduce a whole
    generation into following them any-
    where…

What are we going to do with ourselves?

I think we should be infinitely more solu-
    tion-oriented, these people have opened
the throttle to “wide open” and are bear-
ing down on us relentlessly. All they’re
up there doing now is raping, robbing and
murdering us and stripping us of what
rights we have left. We literally must act in
a practical, cohesive and timely fashion
if we are to survive and for the sake of
our progeny. I’ve been pepeating this over
and over for the last year now, making
noise and more noise, and I see plenty of
other noisemakers around me but all the
howling noise you could hear clear to the
moon ain’t going to bail us out of this jam.

    We need more…

    your friend

  3. There’s nothing we can achieve here without reaching the bulk of the masses and gorging a hook in them, and the fascists have them on lockdown. When you’ve achieved a complete stranglehold on all mainstream media outlets you can do these things, no sweat. It’s easy. Actually this is an idea whose time has come, just hoaxing it with actors and scriptwriters and extras and props. Not to mention a lot of liberal editing and Photoshopping.

I think this event woke us up to just how easy it is to put any old thing over on the public once you have achieved essential power and control over all the pertinent aspects.

  4. The MAD Jewess says:

    End of story.
    They are tyrants.
Shoot them and shoot them again when they come to get us.

Saw your big-bottomed girls post. That was nice of you
to show them in a nice light. 10 years ago, now 11, I

Reblogged this on Cmblake6's Weblog and commented:
This one is too good not to reblog from John as well. This is some really deep thought stuff, and there really are too many questions that remain unanswered. I tend to agree, call me a conspiracy theorist if you want, that it is entirely too believable that this government would do this for the reasons proposed, to cause the knee jerk emotional reaction that allows them to gut the 2A. Again, the 2A was written specifically for the defense of the nation, the control of the government to prevent tyranny. The fact is, the very weapons the government attacks are the ones that the 2A’s intent was to protect. The average citizen having weaponry to match that of the government in case removal/replacement were needed. NFA34? Direct violation. GCA68? Same. Try reading the 10th Amendment sometime. Cities and states may do what they will, so long as it doesn’t violate those restrictions placed on them by the Constitution. Then read the 2A again. What fucking part of “The Right Of The People To Keep And Bear Arms Shall Not Be Infringed” is so hard to understand? Had the staff and teachers of innumerable of these shooting situations been armed, it would have been over far more quickly if it had ever happened at all. What stops the shootings that have been stopped before it could become far worse than it was? A good guy/gal with a gun. How simple is that concept? BUT(!) those self same good guys could turn against the government for it’s violations. Think.

  9. upaces88 says:

Wellll, we’ll see what we can do about that 2morrow. You have a great site. I’ll let my friends know.

I just read an article skewed to make us believe people getting shot to death whether by murder, accidental discharge, or by suicide will surpass deaths by auto-related means by 2015. About 110 people are killed in auto accidents every day in America. But the article says this number should go down soon because more people are wearing seat belts and there are harsher penalties for drunk driving.

  13. These guys are going to take our guns
if they can, it’s no longer a question of if
but when. They’ve been working up to it
for awhile. There’s really no legitimate
reason for them to wait around any long-
er, and I assume they’re thinking the same
    thing.

They’re going to disarm us –if they can —
using the same formula as they did in Aus-
tralia and Great Britain. They’re busy sign-
ing off on the UN treaty now, then all they
need is to set up some regional collection
agencies and they’re done. And they can ac-
    complish that practically overnight. The
possibilty even exists they already have
them set up and waiting. And as in all
cases such as this, all they have to do
in a pinch is lease-out or otherwise
    commandeer appropriate pre-existing fac-
ilities for their temporary use as wea-
    pons collection and processing centers.

They don’t even care what the public wants
anymore, they just do what they want. And
right now they’re exploiting an event basic-
ally identicle to the ones utilized in the dis-
arming of two first-world countries for all it’s
    worth…

This is not good. This is really not good.
We’re out to take a heavy hit no matter
what the outcome…. It’s not going to be pret-
ty. I’ve had these guys under a microscope
for years now, I know how they are. And as
long as all we’re ever doing is talking about
it, we’ll always have some more coming…
They’ll never run out of kicks, they’re having
    too much fun…

He is hitting people in such a way to manipulate them to want more help…more protection from the government (the liberals, that is….); and it is the liberals who will complain, whine for MORE protection from the “xxx” whoever he decides is the next bad buy.

The “bad guys” will be painted as the responsible people who want less interference from the Govt.

  16. Well I responded to this but it must
have blown up on the pad. I hate it
when that happens… Yes, you are
    making sense.

    🙂

  17. To me Obama’s just a glorified street hustler.

That’s how Larry Sinclair sized him up and I
    tend to believe him.

And now Larry Sinclair’s dead. As in, he’s no
longer living, breathing, that sort of thing..
Larry’s in a hole in the ground and he’s not
coming out anytime soon — problem solved, He
was an annoyance for awhile… then he just
went away. Now I can’t even remember the last
time I saw his name. Obama will probably go
another 30-40 years, without Larry being a
problem at all. Larry was dedicated to lay-
ing Obama low, so “that’s a good thing.”

In a perfect world Larry probably would have
outlived Obama because he was younger (I
    think)…

So look at the difference that makes over
the span of a long lifetime, maybe another
20, 30, possibly even 40 years. At the end
of all that there’s a whopping difference
between: “he hounded me right to the grave”,
and: “I stuck him in a grave 30 years ago,
problem solved. He made a mess before I got
him out of my hair, though… but it went
away, not long after he did.”

That happens alot around this bunch. He wasn’t
    that old…

  18. My site really likes you…

  19. upaces88 says:

You know this already, John….It has nothing to do with
“the guns.” It has become an “insane” subject…rather
    FUBAR, doncha think?

It is “power and control” THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE.

P.S. I really like your site.

  20. They have been brought up.

    “Cheap handguns” is the buzzword…

  21. upaces88 says:

John, that’s why I like Reagan’s quote of “responsibility.”

Hide ‘n watch, John…there will be more.

Let me explain something. I first went to work at a large law firm in Dallas. I didn’t know anything about being a legal secretary or the law. So, they stuck me in the “war room”. The war room is where the “clerk” (me) goes to file all of the papers in the right places. Now that sounds boring, doesn’t it!?

It was Judge Tate McCain vs. Ford Motor Corp. I had thousands and thousands of documents to file and put into the right order. He was a Judge in a small town in Texas filing a 40 MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT AGAINST FORD.

    Boring, right? Nope!

I began noticing a pattern of behavior that Tate McCain lived in his life.

I will get to a point, I promise.

I saw where he placed his “values.” Booze, drugs and women. Then I started really looking and examining the man’s life. We ended up beating him BECAUSE HIS LIES, his life was NOT as it appeared to be.
    .
Examine Obama’s patterns of behavior. It is ALL about POWER AND CONTROL over the masses. Everything he is done involves two issues in destroying our nation:

    1) Breaking us financially;

    2) Total control over the masses by setting us against each other; then once that is accomplished take from us what we can do to protect ourselves from him and the entire government;

    3) Many, many false flags are still to come.

F and F, Benghazi, and now the children (all having to do with guns)!

How else can he do that without attacking what makes us strong!?

Now he is going after our religion including the Catholic church who has the most $$ and power. He has now declared them to be “the bad guys.”

    Am I making sense?

  22. What amazes me is we’re still really talking
about a handful of people here, that alleg-
edly perpetrated these crimes. Which ren-
ders them legitimate aberrations. 300 mil-
ion people DIDN’T kill those kids,.. or per-
take in any active involvement, if any kids
were killed,.. ONE person did, according to
    the official account.

    So that’s 300 million to 1.

Punish that guy… leave us the fuck alone.
Don’t punish the multitudes for the sins of
a meagre few. One, or even a few bad apples
don’t spoil the whole barrel. Those 300 mil-
lion peaceful law-abiding citizens — most
of which either have guns or ready access
to guns and always have — were handling
their firearms responsibly that day, and
not discharging them into helpless children.

And the really stunning element is this. Ev-
erybody’s got guns along with these few.
But only these few, this authentic HANDFUL
of people, over a period of over 15 years
now, used any of these guns to do this, and
the only common bond between them all, or
at least the greater percentage of them, was
that they were or had taken psychotropic
drugs, were or had formerly been under psy-
chiatric care, and had know mental- health
    issues.

And they are just sweeping that under the rug…

In a perfect world right now all you’d be hear-
ing about would be MENTAL HEALTH. Mental
health reform. The mental health system is
grievously broken. Logically if these boys
with known issues had been receiving proper
care, or even perhaps proper confinement —
and that’s what asylums are for — then we
wouldn’t have to worry about either losing our
guns or our kids getting killed either.

But all I hear everywhere I look is guns, guns,
guns… and we’ve got it coming, I can tell you.

So this whole thing is being projected onto
the public arena though a purposefully distort-
    ed lens.

    And it makes me sick…

  23. upaces88 says:

Don’t you find it strange that the Chicago Crimes with guns aren’t being brought up?

  24. upaces88 says:

I’m going to think on it more before I will state EXACTLY
what I do think went on. There’s not quite enough information
yet. A “climate” can be created..encouraged…OR, even “allowed”
to happen to prove a point. A situation can also be “slanted” according to the direction anyone wants it to be perceived.

Other examples are F&F, and Benghazi.

What bothered me the most about this is it played TOO closely into Obama’s hands to back up what he wants!
It also bothers me that one of the fathers interviewed who supposedly lost his child… later in the day shows up “with his child.”… you know..the dead one.

AND EACH EXAMPLE I GAVE ABOVE ALL HAVE TO DO WITH GUNS!!!

  25. In my view Obama’s just a mouthpiece.

And hopefully we will bring out the truth,
whatever it is, and in time for it to do us
    some good…

But, considering the JFK thing, etc. etc.,
things don’t look very hopeful, I will admit.

    Keep coming back…
